Dr. Fischer supports the Union’s work on policy-related debates, drawing on her background in international relations to advise the committee on structuring discussions around pressing global policy challenges. She helps identify key policy experts and practitioners to participate in Union debates, ensuring students have the opportunity to engage directly with those shaping global policy. Dr. Fischer also leads workshops on policy analysis for Union members, teaching them how to evaluate policy proposals and develop evidence-based recommendations. Her work ensures the Union’s debates on policy issues are informed by the latest research and practical insights, making them valuable contributions to both academic and policy discourse.
