Liam supports the Chair in managing the Union’s day-to-day operations, with a focus on coordinating the college representative network that ensures every Oxford college has a voice in the society’s activities. He oversees the training of new debaters, organizing workshops on argumentation, public speaking, and rhetorical strategy to help students develop the skills needed to participate confidently in Union debates. Liam also manages the Union’s guest speaker logistics, coordinating with high-profile figures—from politicians to Nobel laureates—to ensure their visits run smoothly, from travel arrangements to Q&A session moderation. His work ensures the Union remains accessible and inclusive, welcoming students from all backgrounds to engage in meaningful dialogue.
