Tom advises the Union on campus-wide engagement, drawing on his experience as a former student leader to help the committee connect with students across all of Oxford’s colleges. He works to ensure the Union’s events are accessible to students from all backgrounds, advocating for inclusive practices in debate selection and participation. Tom also helps the committee navigate university bureaucracy, providing guidance on securing event spaces, obtaining funding, and collaborating with other student societies. His insights help the Union maintain strong ties to the broader Oxford student community, ensuring its work remains relevant and responsive to the needs and interests of the student body.
