She manages the Union’s social media channels, sharing highlights from debates, speaker interviews, and student perspectives to engage a wider audience and encourage participation. Zara also edits the Union’s quarterly newsletter, which features in-depth articles on key debate topics, profiles of student debaters, and updates on the society’s initiatives. She works closely with university communications teams to secure media coverage of the Union’s events, ensuring the society’s work is recognized as a vital part of Oxford’s intellectual landscape.
